I know that information, facts and principles of the treeless saddle are a bit thin on the ground, therefore, I will do my best to explain for all to understand and take advantage of if needed. The treeless saddle is a one position system for those of us who wish to try it, from the "bulldog" no withered heavyweights to the finer narrow lightweights. It fills the gap left by conventional saddles when nothing seems to position.
I recommend that all saddles should be two fingers width behind the scapula (shoulder blade) to give the horse ample room for blade rotation, and the saddle should sit square all round.
When positioning the treeless saddle make sure you have the appropriate saddle pad underneath to ensure you have gullet space to accommodate the spine. Attach the saddle to the pad and pull up into the gullet, place onto the horses back - remebering two fingers behind the scapula - and girth up each side in an even fashion. Always check the girth before you mount up and always use a mounting block with a treeless saddle, then simply enjoy the ride. I know your horse will!
The flexi gullet on the Mshai saddle should fit a broad spectrum of horses with the appropriate saddle pad, high withered horses may require a rigid saddle pad and extra padding.
The fibre pommel will position an incredibly broad range of horses from roly poly.
All my treeless saddles are based on a broad seat for maximum weight distribution expressly for hacking, trekking and endurance riding. The quality of materials is second to none, having been sourced by myself and my manufacturer in Kanpur, India. I demand quality workmanship and materials at all times and oversee all stages of manufacture. All of our saddles are checked prior to delivery to the customer as we base our business on quality not quantity and we aim to provide a fair and effecient service.
